Elf Domino's Pizza
How it's done
Prop a Domino's pizza box open in front of the elf with a toy slice inside. Add a receipt taped to the top.
Should be fine around pets as long as you place it out of reach.
Why this works
Dining-room scenes own the breakfast reveal — kids are already sitting down to eat when they spot the elf holding court over the table. At difficulty 1, this scene is specifically designed to be set up in under two minutes. Busy nights are why this one exists.
Variations
- Bigger-kid twist: For an older crowd that sees through simple scenes, step up to Elf Menu — same room, cleverer setup.
If it doesn't go to plan
If the elf ends up too well-hidden and the kids can't find it, nudge them with a vague hint ("Looks like our elf went somewhere cozy") — the discovery is the point.
